It wasn't the Barge that was actually any good.It was the people outside the bollards drinking cheap booze that ruled.For almost 2 weeks there was something tha t could at best be described as solidarity.Then it went,cos the arseholes who drink in the barge ruined the fun by being nobs(just a couple of them ,and not the obvious ones either).
This year,with the rock cafe being open and probably the other two,it will be swarming with pissed up arseholes looking for a fight,and getting one too.
How long has Chicago rock been open 4months?5 stabbings and multiple beatings resulting in the victim being thrown in the water.This will become more frequent.And who will the licensing people blame?Our crowd.I for one am having no part in it.

ants i guess its true what your saying,im not gonna go there if all that is going to happen is a fight everytime so what i suggest is that we find are very own spot maybe near old musician,and before poeple start saying that it wont be as good as the barge but we can make a hell of a lot better it will be the same as before but just at a different location.We can still have BBQ and get fucked on cheap wine all you need is the right people there to enjoy yourselves.
